The Minoan Dancers performed traditional Thracian dances, accompanied by Edessa, at:

"Dancing for a Cure! Spring Dance Inspiration 2010: Benefit for the UCSF Brain Tumor Center"

The Minoan Dancers were chosen to participate in this annual event, representing Greece, at which San Francisco Bay Area artists perform with their feet and their hearts to raise awareness of brain tumors and funds that support brain tumor research, and provides support for brain tumor patients and their families.

The performance was on March 20, 2010 at Cowell Theater at Fort Mason, Center. Dancers and musicians (Lise Liepman, George Chittenden, Dan Auvil) donated their time and talent to this event, which raised over $35,000 for Pediatric Brain Tumor Research and Patient Care Services at the University of California, San Francisco Brain Tumor Center.
